i-revelation high-power soundsystem

Is berlins heavyweight champion when it comes to real reggae soundsystem business. It is composed of twelve 18" w-bins, twelve horn loaded 12" drivers, six 2" compression drivers and six pairs of tweeters. This set-up provides a solid bass, clear mid-range frequencies and lively trebles by guarantee! It has proven its qualities on several occasions since 2006. We`ve been setting it up on the 1st of May celebrations hold up every year in Berlin Kreuzberg, our home ground, as well as on the Yaam truck which has won the title "best truck" at the 2008 Carnival of Cultures in Berlin.
Since 2007 I-Revelation High-Power hosts the sound-system tent at one of Germany`s biggest reggae festivals "Reggaejam". Beside that we set up the Soundsystem every two to three months at the "Soundsystem Night" which takes place in Berlin`s most famous reggae location, the Yaam.
I-revelation itself was founded more then ten years ago by Muk who got in touch with reggae music as a child and recorded reggae mix tapes since primary school. In the mid 90`s he spend some time in London where he got impressed by the soundsystems set up in the middle of the city. This was the moment he decided to run a soundsystem in his own neighbourhood...
With Muk as Selecta and Johnny Strange as MC, I-revelation pleased the crowds at numerous parties all over Berlin since the late 90`s. Beside that both of them are part of the Berlin based soul/funk/reggae band b-town busted. Johnny Strange is probably known to the public mostly through his career as a member of Culcha Candela. In 2004 Yunus became the final member of the I-revelation Allstars-Crew, in charge with the propaganda concept and as a second DJ enlarging the selection.
When it comes to I-revelation, quality and unique style are standing on top of everything. Our knowledge in setting up soundsystems and the deep musical basket full of finest Jamaican tunes through all decades make us head for more to come in the future.
